Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency is required
- Experience in teaching classes and building curriculum is preferred.
- Bachelors preferred
Computer Skills:
- Knowledge of Word Processing software; Internet software and Database software.

Who we are looking for:
An Adult Education Teacher to Instruct to out-of-school adults.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepares outline of instructional program on a variety of Adult Education content areas and assembles materials to be presented.
- Facilitates discussions to groups to increase students’ understanding
- Reinforces academic content to increase students' skills and background knowledge.
- Provides training to staff, as needed
- Tracks data on all students and provides reports as required
- Demonstrates academic and success skills
- Assists students in locating information by using technology and community resources
Other Requirements
- NYS Driver's license required for insurance reasons
