Requirements
Education/Experience

Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social work or related field with 5 plus years of relevant OPWDD experience.
- OR aMaster's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a relatedfield
- Three years in a supervisory role preferred
What does the Coordinator of Family Support Services do?
- Supervises and coordinates the programs of Family Education & Training, Family Support Services including FSSN, In Home Behavioral Services, Social and Sexuality Education
- Assists through individual and group supervision in identifying problems related to service delivery and makes recommendations toward removal of barriers.
- In conjunction with Strategic Director of Community Services and program staff, facilitates the development and design of program services.
- Oversees the daily functions of each program, supervises staff and monitors utilization and budgets.
- Focuses on evaluation of service opportunities for the individuals and families we serve.

Wildwood Programs is looking for a compassionate leader with a mental health/clinical background to supervise andcoordinate the programs of Family Support Services including: In Home Behavioral Supports, Family Support Services Network and Social and Sexuality Education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:(Other duties may be assigned)
- Establishes formal and informal relationships with service providers and community partners for the purpose of program development and expanding service opportunities and options for the individuals and families we serve.
- Supervises the in home Behavior Support Specialist, the Social & Sexuality Educator, and Family Support Specialist.
- Creates and monitors notes as it relates to the service areas, maintains documentation and is responsible for overall FSS grant management.
- Prepares Quarterly Reports and sends to the Developmental Disability Regional Office.
- Works collaboratively to onboard individuals into counseling, case management, Social and Sexual Education and In Home Behavior Supports.
- Assists through individual and group supervision in identifying problems related to service delivery and makes recommendations toward removal of barriers.
- Evaluates performance of staff members and recommends indicated action.
- In conjunction with Strategic Director and program staff, facilitates the development and design of program services.
Other Requirements
A valid New York State Drivers License and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
