- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred.
- 5 years experience in Project Management and/or Grant writing and grant management experience is required.

A Special Projects and Grants Manager to collaborate with leadership teams to develop comprehensive plans for new programs and initiatives and secure the necessary funding through grants, donations, and other philanthropic resources.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in project management, including cross-functional team collaboration and successful project delivery.
- Strong background in grant writing, research, and management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience preparing proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with community stakeholders, funders, and partners.
Special Projects:
- Partner with the Executive Team to design and implement high-priority special projects;
- Develop and coordinate detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Act as the central point of contact for multiple agency-wide projects, including new development opportunities, and ongoing operational or programmatic initiatives.
- Track the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring timelines are adhered to and deliverables are achieved & ensure all project stakeholders are regularly informed about project progress.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure that all special projects stay within budget.
- Identify, research, and strategize to discover potential grant opportunities from organizations, foundations, government entities, and corporate partners
- Lead the preparation, writing, and submission of funding proposals, ensuring they are compelling, clear, and aligned with Wildwood’s needs.
- Oversee the compliance and reporting processes for all grants, ensuring all deadlines are met, and funder requirements are consistently fulfilled.
- Work with the Business Office to prepare and review financial data related to grants, ensuring budgets and financial reports align with grant requirements. Keep detailed records of all grant activity, track funding sources, and generate reports on grant progress, statistics, and outcomes for internal stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors, funders, and community partners.
- Represent Wildwood at community meetings, events, and networking functions. Promote Wildwood’s initiatives and foster connections with potential funders and partners.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid New York State Driver’s License and a clean driving record for agency insurance coverage are required
