Requirements

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Masters Degree in Human Services field and 5 years related experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree and ten years related experience and/or training;
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive related experience, discretion can be made in lieu of degree.
• 5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. or similar vulnerable population.
• 5 years of supervisory/management experience required.
  

Computer Skills

• Word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Database and Report generation.

Who We Are Looking For

A Strategic Director directly supervises Residential Directors, Director of Nursing and Nutrition, and Director of Behavior and Clinical Supports, and all other support functions to ensure a cohesive team for residential supports. The Strategic Director will be responsible for the direction and overall oversight of all the residential programs; identify industry trends, assist with the strategic development and planning, and work closely with the Executive Management team to further strategic goals of the Agency. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible to evolve Wildwood's residential programs, settings and supports to meet the changing needs of individuals and families by working collaboratively with Wildwood's leadership team.
• Accountable for the overall oversight of all residential programs, including the supervision of direct reports and supporting residential leaders to improve systems, and maximize utilization of resources.
• Ensures that individuals’ needs are continually assessed and monitored so individuals are living in the most appropriate setting of their choice.
• Assists program leadership to develop new, or reorganize existing, supports to achieve program outcomes in non-traditional means.
• Assures health and safety risks are controlled or removed, and a safe environment exists through adequate staffing levels and properly trained workforce in all residential programs.
• Monitors and evaluates the systems in place for residential program staff to ensure they meet Agency, state and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitors and analyzes data to improve agency supports, identify gaps in services, and is responsible for process and program improvement and/or development by utilizing data driven output and/or information.
• Ensures programs and services meet/exceed utilization targets and expenses do not exceed budgetary limits.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable.
• Typically works Monday – Friday 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and assist with on-call duties.
