Sales/Membership Director
Reports to: General Manager
Wildwood Racquet and Wellness Club located in Fort Wayne Indiana, is seeking a full-time Sales Representative. We are the only exclusive indoor racquet club in the whole city. New ownership and current multi million dollar renovations will boast 10 indoor tennis courts and 6 indoor permanent pickleball courts (4 outdoor tennis and 8 outdoor pickleball). The Club is in final stages of the first phase of renovations with phase 2 "new club" beginning next summer 2025.
This position is responsible for sales process and is responsible for new acquisitions and retention of members. Tennis and racquet club background or knowledge is preferred, but not mandatory. Benefits include 401k and paid time off. This candidate would be part of the Clubs Senior Management Team.

Job Summary
Develop and implement programs, projects and activities designed to increase and retain membership in the club. Represent the club in its relationships with external organizations for qualified leads. Work with club manager, Directors and Owner on maximizing outreach and growth of membership for the club.
Job Tasks/Duties
. Maintains the club’s database (membership register) of members’ files.
· Develops and ensures that established procedures for processing prospective members’ applications are consistently followed.
· Assists prospective members in fulfilling application requirements.
· Conducts tours for prospective members.
· Conducts orientation program for new members.
· Promotes club activities using table tents, newsletters, direct mail flyers, notices on club website and other means.
· Promotes club in community and corporate outreach efforts
· Holds prospective member functions.
· Creates prospective member initiatives and promotions
· Creates strategies to retain current members
· Calls and requests active members to make personal referrals and to assist with recruitment efforts.
· Attends weekly management meetings.
· Effectively responds to member comments in accordance with club standards, policies and rules; uses ideas, feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the services provided to members.
· Create and present sales presentations to prospective group members
· Record and report progress of membership pipeline and new memberships
· Create and implement a corporate membership program
· Respond promptly and professionally to qualified membership leads from website inquiries.
· Develop and implement sales strategies to convert leads into memberships.
· Build relationships with potential members to understand their needs and match them with the club's perks.
· Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation efforts by providing feedback to the digital marketing team on the most compelling selling points based on conversations with prospects; this information can assist with ongoing Facebook ads and eblasts.
· Track sales metrics and provide regular reports on performance (e.g., leads received, member conversions, and standard sales cycle timing).
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years of relevant work experience.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
