Wiley University is seeking highly motivated, qualified, and dedicated full-time graduate faculty members to join the Graduate Program in Business Administration. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting research, advising and mentoring graduate students, and contributing to the academic community through publications and service. This role requires a commitment to excellence in teaching, student success, and scholarly activity.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Instruction
- A 4 4 teaching load (4 courses per semester, 2 courses per term) for graduate-level courses in the area of Business Administration.
- Design and deliver dynamic, engaging, and relevant course content that aligns with the latest industry trends and academic research.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods, including lectures, case studies, seminars, and interactive discussions to foster student learning and critical thinking in an online environment.
- Develop and implement fair, rigorous assessments of student performance, providing timely feedback and fostering academic growth.
Research and Scholarly Activity:
- Engage in independent and collaborative research in your area of expertise, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in Business Administration.
- Regularly publish peer-reviewed articles, books, or other scholarly works in recognized academic journals or conferences.
- Participate in academic conferences, seminars, and other scholarly events, representing Wiley University and expanding its research profile.
Student Advising and Mentoring:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to graduate students, offering academic support, career advice, and professional development.
- Mentor graduate students through the process of completing theses, dissertations, or capstone projects in their respective fields.
- Monitor student progress, offer individualized academic support, and assist students in achieving their academic and professional goals.
Service and Engagement:
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other activities that contribute to the overall academic environment of the university.
- Engage in university committees, events, and initiatives that support Wiley University’s mission and strategic goals.
- Stay current with industry trends, academic research, and educational technologies to continuously improve teaching practices and scholarly endeavors.
Qualifications
- Education: A terminal degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Business Administration or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience:
- A strong record of scholarly research and publication in the relevant discipline.
- Professional experience in the field of Business Administration is highly preferred.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
