You will be involved in projects serving federal, municipal, university, and industrial clients. You will participate in preparation of project narratives, reports, technical specifications, and drawing packages as part of interdisciplinary design teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with a lead engineer on the design of fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and passive fire protection elements, while gaining knowledge of building codes, standards, and client-specific requirements.
- Assist in the production of building and life safety code analyses, coordinating passive and active systems with other disciplines, and performing fire suppression system calculations.
- Develop design capabilities in producing deliverables, including reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Intrinsically motivated and collaborative, able to work independently and employ effective communication as a member of the team.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the fire protection engineering industry.
- Must have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Eligible to work in the United States and obtain a security clearance.
- Design of Federal Government facilities
- Application of the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)
