Summary

We are seeking a Assistant infant Teacher to join our organization! This individual will work closely with lead and help plan and present age appropriate activities for children. Wilk N Kids is a high-quality child care center serving ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Our center provides developmentally appropriate curriculum to students in a team work environment.

Duties

  • Treat children with respect.
  • Keep children busy and engaged.
  • Provide a safe environment for children, including using safety equipment.
  • Provide children with snacks and meals at the appropriate times.
  • Make sure that the center is cleaned and maintained properly.
  • Be on time to work, prepared to work all scheduled hours, and work until the job is done.
  • Stay calm in stressful situations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional and intellectual development
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach carry, lift 50 lbs.

    • Nice To Haves

  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
  • Experience with children : 1 year (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
