The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Providing direct patient care to Emergency Room patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans and ensure seamless transitions between departments
- Utilizing Cerner EMR system to document patient information and communicate with colleagues
- Participating in ongoing education and training programs to maintain clinical competencies and stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- At least 1 year of recent travel experience, preferably in Emergency Room settings
- 3 years of ER RN experience preferred
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
