Requirements:
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Pharmacist; hospital experience is preferred.
- One (1) year experience desired but not necessary.
- Professional affiliation helpful.
- Continuing education in new drug and IV Therapies and other state-of-art updates recommended.
About the Job:
- Provide prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals as needed for adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices.
- Advises and consults with patients, families, nursing and medical staff.
- Managerial skills, knowledge of Pharmacy law, numerical ability, thorough knowledge of Pharmacology, aseptic technique, accurate analysis and evaluation of orders, verbal and written communication skills, independent thinking/sound judgment, clinical expertise, teach/instruct, manual and finger dexterity.
