Speech Therapist
Full-time, Days
Schedule: 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, rotating weekends (one every 3 weeks) and holidays (2 per year)

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or its equivalent from an accredited academic institution is required.
- Licensed speech language pathologist in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- BLS required and must be completed prior to end of orientation period.
About the Job:
- Provide patient care, consultative and educational speech therapy services.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary health care team to improve patient outcomes.
- Evaluate, administer, and document speech therapy services provided as prescribed by the referring practitioner; establish speech therapy plan of care and goals; re-assess patient’s progress at appropriate time frames; complete documentation supporting the need for speech therapy services.
- Preference for dealing directly with the therapeutic needs of handicapped individuals and for physical activity.
- Teach/instruct; clerical accuracy; accuracy of prescriptions and procedures; manual and finger dexterity and motor coordination; interpersonal skills; analytical and problems solving skills; treatment and discharge planning; safety conscious; effective communicator.
