**Job Title:** Dental Hygiene Professor
The Wilkes Community College is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Dental Hygiene Professor. This full-time faculty member will be responsible for teaching dental hygiene students and contributing to the development of the program.
**Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Director in ensuring the Dental Hygiene program meets standards established by the College and the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
- Plan, create, and maintain a classroom environment conducive to student learning.
- Teach classes as assigned by the Program Director of Dental Hygiene.
- Update policies and procedures in accordance with standards.
- Participate in the program admission process; advise prospective and current students of program requirements, policies, and academic processes.
**Requirements:*
- Earned at least a baccalaureate or higher degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Hold a valid RDH credential, current state license, and must be graduates of programs accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
