Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Dental Hygiene Instructor to join our team at Wilkes Community College.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the total learning experience of dental hygiene students. This includes teaching, curriculum development, and review, as well as maintaining a classroom environment conducive to student learning.
- Assist the Program Director in ensuring the Dental Hygiene program meets standards established by the College and the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
- Plan, create, and maintain a classroom environment conducive to student learning.
- Teach classes as assigned by the Program Director of Dental Hygiene.
- Update policies and procedures in accordance with standards.
- Participate in the program admission process; advise prospective and current students of program requirements, policies, and academic processes.
This is a 10-month position, and the salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 based on education and experience in accordance with the college salary plan.
