Main Responsibilities
- Manage Parts Sales Process: Oversee the entire parts sales process from start to finish.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively and professionally with staff and customers.
- Provide Timely Updates: Provide timely updates on customer parts status.
- Utilize Parts Catalog: Use the parts catalog to locate specific parts and communicate their details to customers.
- Answer Phone Calls: Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and offer relevant information to customers.
- Verify Estimates: Verify body shop estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with pricing.
- Prioritize Service: Prioritize high-level service for both internal and external customers.
- Manage Inventory: Pull orders from stock, conduct weekly bin checks, and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Notify Parts Manager: Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items or urgent shop materials.
- Locate External Parts: Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources and submit emergency orders if necessary.
- Process Payments: Billing all internal requests for parts on service repair orders, and process payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
