What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Auditor-Treasurer position at Wilkin County?
The Wilkin County Auditor-Treasurer Department has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Deputy Auditor-Treasurer. This position is responsible for managing, maintaining and performing the functions of the County’s Auditor-Treasurer’s Office. These functions include the accounting and payroll systems, the property tax system, the daily financial transactions of the county funds including both collections and disbursements, assisting in the preparation of the annual budgets and financial statements, and the County elections. This position is also responsible for issuing certified vital records and driver’s license renewals.
Salary & Benefits
County employees receive competitive pay and a generous benefit offering. The 2025 starting salary with the approved new wage scale will be $27.94 per hour with career advancement of up to $38.68 per hour.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree or two-year technical school certification or degree and 1-3 years of relevant work experience is required. Must have a valid Driver’s License and applicants will be required to pass a background check.
