Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled RV Repair and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Wilkins Recreational Vehicles. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while providing top-notch repair and maintenance services for our customers' recreational vehicles.
About the Role
- Drive company-owned vehicles to campsites and off-site locations to service RVs, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of repairs and maintenance services.
- Perform all work assigned with speed and quality in accordance with factory and dealership standards.
- Maintain a high level of technical competence by attending factory-sponsored training classes and service training schools, and attaining highest levels of certification possible.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain customer's and company's products in accordance with time and schedules assigned by Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, dealership personnel, and vendor representatives.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
Requirements
- Experience or combination of experience in automotive repair, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance (a 'jack of all trades' is a plus).
- A New York State inspection license is a plus but not required; ability to furnish own hand/shop tools.
- A valid driver's license is essential.
