Summary : The Web Content and Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing website and social media strategies by utilizing platforms which include, but not limited to : Proprietary Branded Websites and Apps, Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, LinkedIn, and various other Truckers Apps. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing
KEY RESULTS AREA #1 - ONLINE IDENTITY THROUGH WEBSITES & SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION
Results The Web Content and Social Media Specialist continually monitors and updates each social media platform and the Travel Center Website with a consistent and current presence.
Results This role collaborates with the Director of Marketing and the Travel Center leadership team to stay ahead of the competition by communicating unique amenities, trends, and positioning by the competition when discovered.
Results The Web Content and Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating engaging content, optimizing company pages, and fostering community interaction.
KEY RESULTS AREA #2 - USE ANALYTICS TO DRIVE CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT, WEBSITE TRAFFIC AND REVENUE GROWTH
Results The Web Content and Social Media Specialist is responsible for regularly pulling analytics to expose trends, gaps, and SEO opportunities.
Results This role is responsible for communicating analytical data to the Travel Center leadership team and collaborating with them to create best market positioning.

Results This role is responsible for continuing education on the current website platform and staying current with recommended techniques to optimize the Travel Center website.

Results The Web Content and Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating an interface for eCommerce to highlight products and evolve our eCommerce business in our Travel Center portfolio.
Results This role is responsible for the Travel CenterApp development to be utilized as a revenue driver and efficiency contribution for our internal and external customer.
Results This role is responsible for establishing strong brand connections with both conventional and virtual communities.

Results Assist the Travel Center marketing team in implementation, proofing, and scheduling. Keep the team up to date on deadlines, goals with result metrics, and overall status of the action items of the marketing plan identified.
Results Assist the Travel Center team in research, design, communications, and result tracking when identified by the team to meet deadlines and goals.
Results Assist the Travel Center corporate team in projects as needed. Attend Travel Center corporate team meetings by phone, zoom, or in person as requested to assist in the overall goals of the organization.
