Dixon Social Interactive Services (DSIS) is looking for an experienced and results-driven leader to step into the role of Director of Operations. This is a high-impact position requiring a deep understanding of our internal workflows, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to integrate and sustain multiple departments efficiently.
This role is best suited for an experienced leader with a proven track record of success who understands the company’s structure, compliance standards, and the nuances of its day-to-day operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & StrategyDevelop and implement systems and processes that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Align operational strategies with business objectives to drive growth and sustainability.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proactively implementing solutions that enhance performance.
Ensure clinical documentation (notes) is completed accurately and on time by collaborating with Clinical Directors.
Manage the performance management system, ensuring accurate tracking of performance, job productivity, and time studies.
Oversee risk management, ensuring all licensures and accreditations remain current.
Participate in and lead company audit checks and compliance audits.
Ensure seamless integration across all departments by identifying and filling operational gaps.
Manage inventory, procurement, and facility sustainment.
Oversee departments and reporting for updates in alignment with Payroll, Facilities, Clinical Leadership, TCM/OPT Supervisor, and Office Administrators.
Lead, mentor, and develop teams, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.
Foster collaboration across departments to streamline communication and coordination.
Promote a solutions-focused mindset, ensuring challenges are met with proactive problem-solving.
Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement matters, ensuring staff transitions are smooth and well-documented.
Support employee productivity through structured engagement initiatives.
Oversee budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational ROI.
Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Implement scalable systems and processes to support company expansion.
Develop contingency plans to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity.
Stay ahead of industry trends and operational best practices to keep the company competitive.
Oversee and manage the operational needs of our four facilities (Greenville, Wilson, Kinston, and Goldsboro), coordinating the fulfillment of office supplies, client supplies, maintenance, and licensures to ensure clinical operations remain uninterrupted.
Serve as the key leading contributor to the development and launch of new sites across North Carolina, developing and managing an operational checklist that ensures a successful launch.
Act as a DSIS representative at key events, ensuring the organization maintains a strong presence.
Existing knowledge of DSIS’s internal operations and ability to optimize workflow.
Experience managing multiple departments with a strong understanding of compliance.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to oversee reporting, Lattice, and productivity tracking.
Ability to problem-solve, manage risk, and ensure smooth integration between departments.
Leadership experience in HR functions, clinical compliance, and Health and Human Services.
Highly organized and systems-oriented—can establish structure, processes, and efficiency.
Strategic problem-solver—not just identifying issues but creating and implementing effective solutions.
Strong leader and communicator—can manage teams and align cross-functional operations.
Process-driven—experienced in developing SOPs, optimizing workflows, and leveraging technology.

Knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and Improvement.
Experience in operations, logistics, or business administration, preferably in a leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
Lead company audits—can confidently lead, manage, and improve audit processes for regulatory and financial compliance.
Must be willing to travel to sites at least once a month.
Experience with Mental Health population and/or Medicaid/Medicare entities.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a hands-on, in-person leadership role and understands the complexities of the industry.
