POSITION: Staff Nurse II or III-Immunizations Clinic
DIVISION: Family Health Services
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Immunizations nurse will instruct individuals and families in health promotion and disease prevention; will provide instruction in general health care and treatment to assigned clients in homes, schools, branch offices, and clinics, working in concert with the family physicians as necessary. Will be required to travel to branch offices, offsite events, and patients' homes with the objective to vaccinate and promote immunizations in the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Staff Nurse II: Accredited Diploma or Associate in Nursing and be a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Illinois or reciprocal State required. Staff Nurse III: Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and be a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Illinois or reciprocal State required.
REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
DESIRED: Bi-lingual in Spanish. Experience in immunizations for both children and adults.
