NOW HIRING: Biology Teacher in the Willamette Career Academy Health Services Program for the 2025-26 school year in Salem, OR. This teacher will work with 11th and 12th grade students from 19 different schools in the region who have chosen to spend half days preparing for careers in health care. This teacher will work in conjunction with a nurse from Salem Health to facilitate hands on, industry-specific activities for students as well as teaching courses (some for college credit), such as anatomy & physiology, medical terminology, and health care career exploration.
Students in this program have a chance to job shadow in Salem Health and other clinics, and can leave with a variety of certifications including medical assisting. These are great kids who choose to come here, and are excited to learn all they can and to prepare for thier futures!
