General Information


Willamette Education Service District is accepting applications for a full-time (40 hours per week) Bilingual English Language Development Teacher position; bilingual Spanish required. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in teaching ESOL, bilingual education, school leadership or related field. Licensure from the state of Oregon through Oregon Teacher Standards & Practices Commission (TSPC) with ESOL endorsement, or other professional licensure agency.Successful candidate will work as a member of Lord High School and Mill Creek Academy, part of the School Improvement Services Department, and will follow a 226-day calendar. This position will be based at the Willamette ESD at the Youth Correctional Facility in Salem, OR and the Juvenile Detention Center in Woodburn, OR and will begin as soon as possible upon conclusion of the selection process.

Salary and Benefits

  • This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) licensed position represented by Willamette Valley Education Association.
  • Placement on the Willamette ESD licensed salary schedule, $60,211 - $110,875, will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications, relevant training, experience, and prorated according to start date. Salary and benefits shown are based upon full-time employment (1.0 FTE) for the entire school year contract period.
