Position Summary:
The IT Support Technician provides frontline technical support for end users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, equipment, and software. This position plays a critical role in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT assets, and upholding HIPAA security and privacy standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
This role also involves travel between locations, requiring a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. The technician should also be capable of lifting and moving IT equipment up to 50 lbs as part of hardware deployment and maintenance tasks. On-call and after-hours work may be required on occasion.

Location: Downtown Eugene, with some opportunity for hybrid work.

Shift Hours & Days:
Monday through Friday | Full-Time , On-call and after-hours work may be required occasionally.
Compensation: Starts at 19.95/ hour, This is a non-exempt role

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
· 1 years of IT support experience or equivalent education.
· Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
· Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security requirements (or willingness to learn).
· Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripherals.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site IT support.
· Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs.) as required.
· Availability for occasional on-call and after-hours support as needed.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist non-technical users.
· Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration is preferred but not required.
· Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to diagnose and resolve basic IT issues independently or as part of a team.
· Capable of organizing and tracking IT assets to maintain an efficient workspace.
· Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
