Position: Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Withdrawal Management

Willamette Family is looking for part-time medical providers (NP or PA) for Withdrawal Management in our Buckley Detox program. These positions have a potential for growth into a full-time position as our program needs change. Currently WF is underway with the construction of our NEW Buckley location that will allow for an expansion for crucial services to our community.
PART-TIME Medical Provider in Withdrawal Management- NP or PA Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate provider. The ideal candidate will be a licensed medical provider with a background in addiction medicine and withdrawal management. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team and work closely with the medical director to ensure evidence-based care for individuals with substance use disorders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current licensure with the ability to practice in Oregon. (PA or NP, FNP)
The Ideal Candidates will have:
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members.
A commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care and advocating for individuals with substance use disorders.
Compensation:
Hourly rate $75-100/ hour depending on experience and level of licensure
On call: On call rate $250/ day for Weekdays, $300/day for Weekends
Employment Requirements:
- This role requires providers to be available for on-site and call work; Must be located in the Eugene, OR area or be willing to commute.
- Background Check Approval from the Department of Human Services (Initiated post-offer)
- Pre-employment Drug Screening (including Cannabis/THC) (Initiated post-offer)
Requirements
Job Duties:
- Clinical Collaboration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to follow medical protocols and treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Medical Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients entering withdrawal management and residential treatment programs, including physical health, mental health status, and substance use history.
- Formulate differential diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans, integrating medical withdrawal management protocols for multiple levels of care.
- Medication Management and Prescribing:
- Prescribe and manage medications to support withdrawal management and address co-occurring medical and mental health conditions.
- Monitor patients' response to medications, adjust dosages as needed, and provide education on medication adherence and potential side effects.
