Position Summary:
Willamette Family is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential SUDs Counselor to join our residential clinical team. This role involves providing addiction treatment to individuals in our residential program. You will deliver evidence-based, individualized treatment services within a supportive 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Provide educational information, resources, and culturally appropriate substance use services to clients. This includes assessments, progress discussions, and creating/updating individual plans and goals.
- Documentation: Maintain client case management information and educational group notes according to organizational policies.
- Collaboration: Work with WF staff and community partners to support client care coordination.
- Professional Communication: Model professional communication and a supportive environment, engaging clients in problem-solving and coping strategies.
- Crisis Intervention: Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and support clients and their children as needed.

Position Type: Full-time
Shift Hours & Days: Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-5pm
Compensation: Starts at $26.57/hr

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Certification: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II or above) or a bachelor’s degree with CADC I and active progress toward CADC II certification within 6-12 months. **CADC-R acceptable if in active process towards CADC-1 with bachelor's degree**
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Preferred: Ability to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA)
