POSITION SUMMARY:
Willamette Family's Downtown Treatment Center in Eugene, OR, is seeking a Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health Team. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and traits necessary to lead and mentor a clinical team, providing high-quality substance abuse treatment services that meet the needs of every individual we serve.
Location: Willamette Family Downtown Treatment Center (Eugene, OR)
Compensation: $30.03/hour (Hourly, non-exempt)
Position Type: Full-Time
6 months of employment: $2500 Bonus
1 year of employment: $2500 Bonus

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated competence in leadership, wellness, service evaluation, staff development, service planning, case management, and use of community resources.
- Oregon state certification: CADC II or higher
- Five years of full-time experience in alcohol and drug counseling, or a Bachelor’s degree with four years of experience in social services, or a Master’s degree with three years of experience in social services.
- Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Pass a required criminal background check.
- Adherence to the agency’s non-discrimination policies.
- Effective interaction with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical:
- Provide 1:1 and group supervision for substance use disorder counselors.
- Ensure Evidence-Based Practices are implemented with fidelity.
- Assure quality care tailored to individual needs.
- Implement culturally appropriate services.
- Mentor and coach the professional development of supervisees.
- Develop individualized plans for clinicians to build their skills.
Compliance:
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with rules and policies.
- Protect Individual Service Records in accordance with OARs, 42 CFR Part 2, and HIPAA.
- Serve as a liaison between WF and other service agencies.
- Stay informed about addiction treatment advancements.
- Complete necessary requirements to maintain certification.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Program Manager, Deputy Director, and Executive Director.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in addiction treatment best practices.
- Knowledge of ASAM, OARs, and 42 CFR Part 2/HIPAA regulations.
- Proficiency in Office 2010 software, including Outlook.
- Skilled in evidence-based interventions like Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor clinical staff.
- Capability to follow oral and written directions.
- Flexibility in responding to changing needs.
- Ability to work with clients in crisis
- Effective time management and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
