**Overview:**
We are seeking two passionate Activities Director's to oversee and coordinate engaging programs and events for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning, communication, and a genuine interest in providing top-notch care for seniors, particularly those, in memory care, and dementia care settings.
One open Shift available.
Wednesday 2pm-8pm, Thursday-Saturday 9am-7pm.
10-hour days with an hour lunch break.
**Duties: **
- Transport Residents on occasion to and from doctor's appointments.
- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities to cater to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents.
- Collaborate with staff to create personalized activity plans based on residents' interests and abilities.
- Organize outings, social gatherings, and special events within the community.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback.
- Ensure activities comply with regulatory standards and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
- Foster a warm and inclusive environment where residents feel valued and engaged.
**Experience: **
- Valid Oregon Driver's license. 3-years of a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in event planning or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of senior care practices, social work, nursing home operations, or home community care is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
- Creative mindset with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
