Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary, ensuring any changes are communicated to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments or social activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including nursing staff and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care, nursing home settings, or memory care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
- Familiarity with vital sign monitoring and basic medical procedures is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Pay: $17.64 - $18.16 per hour
