Lead Mortgage Loan Closer
Willamette Valley Bank is seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills for a Lead Mortgage Loan Closer position. This role will support our Mortgage Loan Division with accurate, compliant and efficient loan process completion while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
Some of the Key Responsibilities Include
- Draw loan documents, fund loans and assist with post-closing duties as needed with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure file documents meet all applicable bank, state and federal regulations.
- Communicate and collaborate with Settlement Agents to final all loan fees and closing dates
- Prepare initial closing disclosure and change of circumstances with accurate and timely reconciliation of all fees and figures relating to each loan
- Performing accurate input of all file data and required funding fields in LOS to generate correct wire amount request
- Effectively communicate status and expectations to internal staff, loan originators, closing agents and notary signers
- Other duties as assigned, including assisting other team members and management as needed

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively on a team
- Prior mortgage industry experience required, including FHA/VA
- 4 or more years of funding or document drawing experience necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, HVCC/AIR, MDIA, Regulatory Compliance and legal requirements
- Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages
- Encompass experience preferred
- Ability to accurately complete detailed financial forms and paperwork
- Ability to always display professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills required
