What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packager I position at Willamette Valley?
Summary:
Inspect all finished product before being packaged on assembly.
Primary Duties:
Inspection of all products before it reaches packaging stage.
Will operate all machines involved in packing product.
Assist with set up and change over on all Alloys and PMI machines.
Make sure appropriate materials are in the right machines.
Comply with all safety rules according to company policy.
Research and recommend product improvement.
Demonstrate the ability to achieve all levels
Level 1
product package assembly
Blister seal/ alignment Inspection
Container Inspection
Date Code-Batch Number Processing
Tube/ Cartridge QC Inspection
Scrap Separation & Documentation
Cardboard Waste Disposal
Non-Essential Duties:
Tally daily production.
Package and box finished product.
Maintain cleanliness of work space.
Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of one (1) year related manufacturing/production experience and/or training.
OR equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
