Title: Production Technician
Reports to: Production Manager
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
Summary:
Position may be involved in any one of the following: Miscellaneous Paints/Inks, Synthetic, Synthetic Pumping. Position may require batch mixing, container handling, chemical handling and pumping, and general maintenance housekeeping. Forklift experience is required as well as ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. frequently on a regular basis.
Primary Duties:
Batch mixing according to specifications
Handling of chemicals with the proper use of personal protection equipment
Transfer of and/or mixing of products from one type of container to another
Use of forklift to perform job responsibilities
Non-Essential Duties:
Warehouse product organization
Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and warehouse work area
Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Forklift certification with minimum 6 month experience
Ability to establish and maintain effective positive working relationships with other employees and customers
