Early Childhood Programs:

Located at Willard Community Center at 1245 S. Folsom Street, service 3-5 year- olds.

Childcare Support Staff ensure the safety of the children enrolled in Willard's preschool and pre-k programs. Staff support the lead teacher by helping the children through their day-to-day routines and keeping the classroom organized and tidy. Staff must play with and supervise children, interact with and work well with other Willard staff members, assist the preschool and pre-k teachers in any way necessary, rub kids' backs during nap time, talk with parents and work cooperatively with school personnel to guarantee the smooth operation of the licensed program.

Applicants should have the following skills/qualities:

Applicants must have 1-2 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting or working towards a degree in Early Childhood Development/Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or a related field.

Inservice training hours are required through Nebraska Childcare Licensing. Willard Community Center pays for all training, and employees are paid for the time spent attending the training courses.

Must pass all required background checks.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
