- Education Level: Preferred Graduate degree (Master’s or above) in Educational Administration from an accredited college/university
- Certification: Preferred Administrative Certification (building principal)
- Experience Desired: Previous administrative experience preferred; previous teaching experience working with at-risk students required
- Other Requirements: Experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, Crisis Prevention Institute instructor certification
- Oversee the SUCCESS program in collaboration with building administration, including discipline, and the supervision of daily activities within the program.
- Assist with the annual evaluations of SUCCESS, MTSS, and staff members, in conjunction with building administration.
- Collaborate with the Director of Learning, Director of Special Services, and Building Principals to develop, refine, and integrate MTSS Tier 2 and Tier 3 strategies, interventions, and enrichment opportunities for academics and behavior.
- Coordinate with building counselors on MTSS strategies, data, and other vital content providing the necessary strategies and professional development.
- Participate in district-wide Threat Assessment protocols and use multiple data sources to assess and implement program improvements.
- Ensure the effective selection, induction, and ongoing development of personnel through training, consultation, and support for administrators and teachers on the MTSS process.
- Promote performance standards for at-risk students and staff, fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.
- Manage class scheduling for the SUCCESS program, including coordination of bell, bus, and lunch schedules in conjunction with building administration.
- Establish and maintain procedures for the identification, assessment, placement, and review of students within the district’s MTSS model.
- Act as a liaison between the district and external agencies (e.g., juvenile office, local law enforcement, DYS) related to at-risk students.
- Work with intervention teams to ensure the MTSS process is implemented with fidelity, continuously reviewing data to assess the impact of interventions.
- Maintain Crisis Prevention Institute trainer certification and provide CPI instruction to staff, in collaboration with other district trainers.
- Coordinate with building counselors on MTSS strategies, data and other vital content providing the necessary strategies and professional development.
