Maintenance Technician - Maywood, IL

We’re supporting our client, based in Maywood, Illinois who are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Technician will have experience working equipment operations with an emphasis on good electrical experience and experience working with PLC controls.

Responsibilities:
- Installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining and all production machinery.
- Responsible for preventative and emergency maintenance, as well as various project based work (relocating equipment etc.)
- Understand and align with company values and mission: serious work ethic, ownership/ responsibility, achievement/ results oriented, a commitment to quality/ continuous improvement, honest, credible, open, straightforward communication and an interest and/or positive predisposition to the motorcycle field.
About You:
- A reliable leader and self-starter who can work well independently.
- A problem solver and creative troubleshooter who thrives on multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, will get the job done and who is willing and ready to work overtime as required.
- The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and some trade school experience (electrical, HVAC or maintenance).
- 5 years’ experience working on equipment operations with an emphasis on good electrical experience and experience working with PLC controls.
- Able to pass an electrical schematic diagram test. Working knowledge of hydraulics and Pneumatics is a big plus.
