About This RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Building Energy Efficiency Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for consulting on individual new construction projects, developing tools, energy efficiency measures, and delivery strategies to support energy efficiency programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesGathering information to analyze energy saving options using energy models, coordinating project work deadlines and meetings, managing expectations of design teams and program managers, and providing consultation and presenting work to project teams are key responsibilities of this role.
RequirementsA minimum 4-year degree in a technical field such as Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Construction Management, Building Science, or a closely related field is required. Knowledge of building design, construction processes, and/or building energy analysis, as well as demonstrated experience with hourly simulation tools such as DOE-2, EnergyPlus, or IESVE, is also necessary.
