Position Overview :
The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the manufacturing facility. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting to ensure the plant operates efficiently and profitably. The Plant Controller collaborates closely with plant management, headquarters, and cross-functional teams to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the plant
- Develop, manage, and analyze annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor variances and provide insights to management
- Produce and review general ledger journal entries and lead month-end closing processes
- Analyze production costs, monitor inventory levels, and implement cost control measures to enhance profitability
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard plant assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic planning and operational improvements
- Work closely with operations, procurement, and HR teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives and to provide financial insights that drive decision-making
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- Perform other duties as assigned
