The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the supply chain strategy and execution in collaboration with the entire organization while maximizing organizational efficiency and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This individual is responsible for planning, identifying new suppliers, conducting sourcing activities, and negotiating terms and conditions driving savings and / or mitigating costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, scheduling, purchasing, order fulfilment, item master (including BOM creation), and reviewing / execution of MRP within ERP (INFOR)
• Release, modify and close production work orders to satisfy the customer and process requirements
• Maintain close communication with production on work orders issued / modified and ensure new and rescheduled production is fully and accurately supported
• Customer collaboration to meet or exceed service requirements, while proactively sharing accurate and timely communications regarding supply and availability of their products
• Priorities include accountability for customer service levels, inventory management, cost reduction and quality
• Daily review, planning and collaboration with stakeholders to monitor planned or expedited deliveries of raw materials necessary to meet customer requirements
• Utilize INFOR ERP to analyze and execute purchasing / planning for defined packaging, chemicals and service categories, supporting production and forecast requirements
• Develop and support continuous improvement activities enriching existing businesses and collaborating on new product development / business development
• Foster cross functional relationships on-site and at sister locations within the Willert network
• Maintain Master Data within ERP (INFOR)
• Other duties as assigned
