Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves and restocking items as needed.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to share unique product information
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Ability to perform product demos effectively, showcasing merchandise benefits to customers.
• Strong organizational skills for managing stock levels and maintaining store appearance.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
