Key Responsibilities
- Photography and Editing: Capture high-quality images of artwork and edit them using Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Website Management: Build and maintain multiple websites using platforms like Squarespace and Dreamweaver.
- SEO; Digital Marketing: Implement best SEO practices to improve keyword rankings, manage Google Ads campaigns, and enhance the gallery's online visibility.
- Social Media and Blog Management: Upload and promote artwork on social media platforms, various art sales websites, and the California Art Blog.
- Email Marketing: Write and send engaging Mailchimp campaigns twice weekly, blending art historical insights with a sales-oriented approach.
- Graphic Design and Advertising: Design layouts for advertisements, coordinate with auction houses, and manage promotional materials.
- Shipping and Inventory Management: Create shipping labels, track shipments, and update collection records, including the status of framing, restoration, and cost-of-goods.
- Customer Interaction: Answer phone inquiries and provide exceptional service to gallery clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Gmail, Google Chrome, MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe
Photoshop.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Squarespace, and Dreamweaver.
- Strong Knowledge of SEO principles and extensive experience with paid ad platforms
like Google Ads.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling, art-focused content.
- Background in Art History is highly preferred.
