We are seeking a dedicated Associate I, Alternatives & Private Equity who possesses an operations focus to join our Private Wealth Management team. This role plays a part in supporting the operational aspects of our alternative investments and private equity strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in operations management within financial services, along with an interest in alternative investments.
Essential Responsibilities
This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives.

Salary Range
$67,000—$86,900 USD

- Learn how to perform basic operational aspects of alternative investments, ensuring accurate oversight of process and execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth operational workflows. Alert team members of operational issues.
- Utilize technology and automation tools to optimize operational tasks and enhance scalability.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to alternative investments and private equity operations.
- Learn how to conduct operational risk assessments and how to implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Support basic compliance initiatives, including audit preparation and regulatory reporting.
- Generate and maintain accurate records and reports on investment transactions, portfolio performance, and operational metrics.
- Assist in preparing operational and performance reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory purposes.
- Additional responsibilities as requested
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1 year of experience in operations management, due diligence, or financial services required
- SIE Exam, Series 7 and 66 preferred; SIE exam and Series 7, 66 will need to be completed within 120 days
- Basic understanding of operational processes and workflows in investment management
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations in financial services operations
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
