The Lead Enterprise Systems Engineer role includes leading technical administration of the firm's email platforms, including a hybrid Exchange environment and spam filtering technologies. The candidate will manage compliance solutions like Global Relay supervision and Microsoft information barriers, and coordinate with the security team to ensure platform security. Responsibilities also include managing system API access and the Azure enterprise applications list, conducting audits, onboarding and offboarding, issuing SSL certificates, and automating tasks. The candidate will standardize and secure system access, collaborate with architecture and security teams for secure system operations, and provide coverage for system platforms such as O365, endpoint and mobile systems, Azure, AV, telephony solutions, and enterprise applications.
Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To
This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives.

$122,000—$172,300 USD

Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To
- Lead the administration of the firm's email platforms, including the hybrid Exchange environment, spam filtering, and other related email technologies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for configuring and managing the firm's compliance solutions and technologies, including Global Relay supervision and Microsoft information barriers.
- Coordinate with the firm's cyber and information security team to ensure the security of email and other central technology platforms, including but not limited to domain health, business email compromise, and purview.
- Manage and maintain system API access and Azure enterprise applications list. This includes regular audit of access and processing onboarding and offboarding requests.
- Act as primary resource for issuing and installing digital ssl certificates, including auditing and tracking use cases and applications.
- Automate frequent support requests and operational tasks using Microsoft and\or Service Now systems.
- Lead engineering efforts to standardize and secure system and platform access utilizing tools such as PIM and PAM. Collaborate with architecture and security teams to ensure secure system access across both on-premise and online platforms.
- Provide coverage to system engineering platforms, such as the O365 ecosystem (Teams\ SharePoint\OneDrive\etc.) including add-ins\plug-ins, endpoint and mobile systems, Azure, AV, telephony solutions, and enterprise business applications.
- Leverage industry standard tools to improve system availability and performance. Triage events according to severity and impact on business operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to management and vendors when necessary.
- Create documentation and training materials for technology team’s knowledge base
- Lead platform disaster recovery test activities.
- Collaborate with peers to spread understanding of industry trends that may affect system solutions.
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related subject matter required
- 8 years of experience with systems required
- Relevant certification(s) preferred
- Technical knowledge across industry standard platforms, specifically Microsoft
- Advanced comprehension of Email platforms, specifically in a regulated environment
- Detailed understanding of the O365 and integrated systems
- Understanding of industry standard automation tools
- Comprehensive understanding of Azure services, specifically Enterprise apps, Azure API, and PIM
- Desire to inspire others about technology
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to convey technical knowledge to various audiences
- Strong problem resolution skills
