Description
Job Summary
The primary duty of a Lab Instructor is assisting the WCUCOM faculty in lab-related courses at the graduate, medical school level.
Duties and Responsibilities
- As it relates to CPCI and II
- Participate in Exam Skills lab, teach/discuss/answer student questions
- Faculty proctor for grading “Mega Test” and “Mini Mega Test”
- As it relates to CPCIII and IV
- Teach procedures, help with POCUS and run simulation
- Provide facilitation for small groups
- Facilitate faculty evaluations for SPT performance feedback
- Lecture as needed as it relates to specialty
- Provide grading resources for OSCEs
Physical Demands
- Must possess the physical ability to actively facilitate student learning in the lab setting for extended period of times
- Must have vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
- Must have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of a college or school of medicine accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) or the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)
- Experience in family medicine, general practice, or equivalent training
