Are you reliable, detail-oriented, and outgoing? We’re looking for an in-person Property Assistant to help with property showings, inspections, and providing access for repair professionals. This is a flexible, as-needed position, ideal for a college student or anyone looking to earn extra income with a few hours of work each week. Some weeks may not have any work.
You don’t need prior experience in property management—just a strong work ethic, great communication skills, and a proactive attitude. We’ll provide guidance on what to look for during inspections and how to interact with tenants and contractors.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct property showings for prospective tenants.
- Provide access to repair professionals and contractors as needed.
- Perform light property inspections (checking for maintenance issues, ensuring units are clean and ready for new tenants).
- Assist with move out cleanings to keep properties presentable.
- Communicate with the property manager about scheduling and property conditions.
- Bonus: If you're handy and can diagnose basic maintenance issues (leaks, HVAC concerns, minor wear & tear), that’s a plus! (No repairs required, just an eye for identifying potential issues.)
