Materials Testing Technician
Hourly Rate: $16.00-$23.00 (dependent on experience) plus Benefits
Sweetwater/Fremont County
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Reliability–must be able to arrive at project sites prior to scheduled times
- Must be able to prepare reports and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of Materials Testing experience
- ACI (American Concrete Institute) certification
- ACI Laboratory Testing Technician Level 1
- WYDOT Asphalt Concrete Technician
- WYDOT Soils and Aggregate Technician
Essential Duties:
- Will perform field inspections and observations roadways, structures, and construction projects
- Will perform soil, concrete, aggregate and masonry testing
- Will interact with client representative at project sites
- Will monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications
- Will provide daily reports of observation and test results
- Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of testing data
- Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to work in variable outside conditions
- Must be a self-starter and be able to perform tasks with little or no supervision
