Job Title: Behavioral Support Specialist (EBD) 2024/2025 School Year - Concord, NH
About Us: We are a growing provider of educational and behavioral support systems for children with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a public school settings throughout the state of New Hampshire. We are seeking Full-time Behavioral Support Specialists (EBD) ($40,000-$43,000 per school year) to join our team for the 24/25 school year. PLUS ADDITIONAL HOURLY pay ($25 per hour) for summer hours.
Job summary: The Behavioral Support Specialist (EBD) works in collaboration with educators and related staff to provide academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support in a public-school setting for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and with identified behavior disorders (EBD) in a 1:1 or small group basis. Works under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. This is a 43-week school year contract that follows the school schedule which contains generous vacation and holidays along with full time paid benefits. We are currently looking for specialists in Concord, NH.

Training for employees to obtain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or supervision for RBT’s and those working on obtaining their BCBA credentials

Behavioral Support Specialist Responsibilities:
· 1:1 support; to provide prevention/intervention for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
· Consistent implementation of behavior support plans, curriculum modifications and behavioral data collection
· Following the principals of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
· Effectively communicating with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
· Understanding and adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols
· Strong documentation skills and attention to details
Behavioral Support Specialist Requirements:
· Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education, Psychology, or related field
· Preference given to registered behavior technician (RBT)
· Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Positive Behavior Support (PBIS), crisis prevention/intervention, and de-escalation strategies
· Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
