What You'll Be Responsible For: Touting a culture of logistics safety, training constantly, turning audits from confrontational to collaborative, and promoting personal accountability. Tracking all performance related statistics for logistics and inventory. Recruiting, training, developing, and managing employees to ensure flawless execution of daily tasks. Coordinating with operations to establish processes for delivering continuity of material flow. Analyzing all logistics cost including internal storage and freight cost to establish expense and performance improvement goals. Providing clear strategic direction by standardizing internal processes and driving improvement. Building strong customer relationships and understanding trends that affect our business to develop solutions creatively and strategically. What You'll Need to Have: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Expertise in Microsoft Office suite and Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions. A strong customer-focus with the ability to support operations and gain their cooperation and respect. 5 years of experience in operations management in manufacturing.
