Position Summary
Provides administrative and programmatic support for effective and efficient operation of the Law School Office of Career Services. Duties:
- Helps to plan and manage OCS events and programs, including preparation of promotional materials for such events and programs;
- Manages office and administrative duties;
- Helps to update and manage OCS website , Symplicity, TWEN, and Instagram pages;
- Manages student and alumni job postings and updates to employer database;
- Develops effective working relationships – in person, by telephone and e-mail – with external constituencies (for example, law firms, courts/judges, government agencies, private nonprofit organizations, corporations/businesses, alumni and offices throughout William & Mary), and with internal constituencies.
- Assists Recruiting Program Administrator as needed with on-campus interviews (OCI), virtual interviews, resume forwards (RF), off-campus interview programs, and management of student assistants and temporary employees.

Conditions of Employment
- Occasional travel, overtime, and weekend work may be required.
- This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
- This position is not eligible for remote work. Typical office hours are Monday-Friday, 8-5.

Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Microsoft Office – including Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint; Adobe; and Windows.
- Professional experience in a fast-paced, extremely busy office.
- Demonstrated excellence in organizational, administrative, project-management, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software and software applications quickly
- Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and to meet short deadlines, completing projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prior experience using graphic design platforms including, but not limited to, Canva.
- Prior experience using social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal education and/or formal computer and office services training beyond high school strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working in higher education administration, especially in a career services office.
- Prior experience with data management software (especially career services software such as Symplicity)

Up to $42,000 commensurate with experience.
