We are looking for a caring and professional Personal Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the elderly and be able to communicate effectively. The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for helping clients eat meals, assisting with exercise, bathing, dressing and grooming as well as taking them on outings and trips. A successful candidate will be flexible, hardworking and motivated by a strong desire to make a positive impact on our clients' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with various activities of daily living.
- Assist caregivers to support residents living with dementia, reduce agitation and soothe residents.
- Collaborate in the development of care plans that meet the needs of residents.
- Review and analyze resident evaluations, observations, and other data to ensure quality of nursing care is consistent.
- Monitor resident's health conditions to ensure timeliness of intervention.
