Accounting firm is looking for an organized and friendly Office Assistant Receptionist. In this position, you will assist with a variety of clerical and administrative duties. These tasks include greeting clients, answering phones, taking messages, managing email and mail correspondence, and appointment scheduling . You may also assist with invoicing, updating client files, and ordering office supplies. Since you will be the first person clients see as they walk through our door, we are looking for an individual who can maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and take messagesRespond to emails
- Manage mail correspondence
- Greet clients and visitors
- Help maintain office calendar
- Assist with invoicing and posting of client payments
- Perform data entry and filing tasks
- Manage inventory of office supplies
- Perform other clerical tasks as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree is a plus
- Administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Experience in an accounting or tax office is a big plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks software a plus
- Computer proficiency
- Organizational, time management and communication skills are paramount
- Basic math skills
- Calm and professional appearance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
