- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and oversee financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in annual budgeting and manage monthly forecasts
- Monitor cost controls and financial performance
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
- Manage cash flow forecasts and ensure liquidity
- Oversee banking relationships and treasury functions
- Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain internal controls
- Support audits and manage corporate governance documentation
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team
- Promote a collaborative work environment
- Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Support:
- Ensure accurate cost accounting with operations teams
- Support cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting systems
- Experience with cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Proficiency in accounting software (Great Plains and Bistrack experience preferred)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
