- Develop detailed estimates and bids for construction projects
- Review and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Interpret plans and drawings to gather necessary information
- Perform take-offs to compile data for bids
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and create scopes of work
- Strong team player with excellent resource, planning, and time management skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with SAGE Estimating software
- Proficiency with take-off programs such as On-Screen or Plan Swift
- Three (3) or more years of experience in the construction industry as an estimator, manager, or engineer
